About Kids From Armley Dance Most children join Armley Dance Studios for fun, to meet friends and pass IDTA examination awards (syllabus that your child will be taught). Some children come for one class a week, others train more intensively for competitions. Competitions have different standards from local ones to regional championship titles. All ages are in the school from age 3 to adult students studying teachers degree level. Pupils achievements - Royal Ballet School, Londons West End - SIX, Elf the Musical, Waitress, Grease, Miss Saigon, 42nd Street, Back to the Future and more, BBC, ITV, Chinese Circus, Monty Python Films, Santa's Arrival Leeds, Pebble Mill, Cruise Liners - P & O, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Laine Theatre Arts, The Urdang Academy, Bird College, Wilkes Academy, Hammond School, Italia Conti, Arts Educational, Northern Contemporary Dance, Northern Ballet School, York Scholars, Rambert Dance Company, Rock Bands, Christmas Lights, Caberet Floor Shows, Lido - Paris, Various Pantomimes, Casino Productions, Commercials, Promotional Events, Performances for HRH. No special kit is required although Armley Dance does have its own onsite shop where all basic gear can be purchased once your child is settled.
